Buffalo House

Buffalo, New York

This house, originally built in 1907, underwent many changes, including a limited interior fire, over the course of its life, before being renovated by the current owner in 2011.

This renovation involved a complete gutting and reworking of the first floor. As the house had lost all of its original woodwork many years ago, new woodwork with custom millwork profiles was installed, along with antique doors and an antique mantel.

A new first floor bay was built beneath the existing second floor bay, providing a focal point for the redesigned exterior, giving the house a much greater presence in the streetscape.
